Summer Tea
Updated: Mar 9, 2022
Hibiscus, Nettle and Peppermint, what do they have in common? They are in Herbal Twist’s Summer Tea. Drink it hot or drink it cold either way is refreshing.

You may know nettle as that irritating weed that stings when you touch it and leaves welts on your skin. That is not all that nettle is known for, it is also known for containing many nutrients such as vitamins A, C, and K, iron, and all of the essential amino acids. Nettle may help reduce inflammation, help with hay fever, help control blood sugar, and is a natural diuretic. It has a weak green tea flavour to it.
Hibiscus is what gives this tea its beautiful colour and wonderful floral note. Hibiscus is also packed with antioxidants. It may help lower blood pressure, help support healthy cholesterol, and may act as a natural anti depressant.
Peppermint is what gives this tea its cooling and refreshing flavour that I love as an iced tea. Peppermint may help relieve digestive upset, and headaches. It may also help increase energy levels.
